Grading
Formative assessment: projects graded by the teacher using rubric. (evidence shows grade in power school)
Self assessment: projects graded by the student using rubrics. (evidence student defending their grade writing on their blog page with image of project)
Peer assessment: projects graded by classmates using rubrics. (evidence of students collaborating defending their grades with images writing on their blog page)
Informal assessment: will be individual critiques with student and teacher. (evidence student writing on their blog page regarding the one on one critique)

Artwork 25%
1-The student must post an image of their artwork on the portfolio slide show page to receive credit.
2-The student will grade and defend the reasons for that grade on their blog page. Student will post a picture of their artwork and use the rubric to describe why they deserve that grade to receive credit.
Artist Study 25%
1-Artist study questions are worth 100 points and the drawings are worth 50 points each for a total of 100 points for the drawings. The student must post all the information on the blog for credit.
Class Participation 20%
1-Each student will receive 20 points a day for class participation for a total of 100 points for each week.
Web Design 15%
Student creatively develops and demonstrates a full understanding navigating and building there website.
Vocabulary 15%
Student maintains all definitions and vocabulary assignments on their vocabulary page.
Grading scale
A full point is earned by meeting each requirement on the rubric. There will be 6 requirements for each art project. A half point (.5) is earned by attempting and not meeting the requirement. Zero points are earned for an unsatisfactory attempt meeting the requirements. The grading scale starts at 100 and ends at 50. I gave you 50 points so do your best.
